No Straw

Today while I was working in the palace, a man named Moses came to meet with Pharaoh. I have heard that he is considered a leader of the Israelites. He came to ask Pharaoh if the Israelites could go into the desert for a three day journey to offer sacrifices to their God. As I thought that he would, Pharaoh immediately denied him this request. He then ordered that the Israelites no longer be given any straw, which is needed in order to make the brick that they were forced to make. He then said that they would still be required to make the same amount of bricks that they were making before when the straw was provided for them. I can only imagine how angry the Israelites were with Moses for causing this and making their lives more miserable than they already were.
